Questions or concerns about your drinking? As part of Alcohol awareness week Cranstoun are running awareness and liver function sessions to support awareness of the potential harms associated with alcohol consumption and to promote healthier attitudes and behaviors around drinking.

During Alcohol Awareness Week and beyond, Cranstoun Inspire Sutton can support you to make healthier alcohol choices.
Reduce the Harm
Reducing alcohol use can be a positive step towards improving your health. Here are some tips that may help you to reduce your drinking.

Set goals which matter to you to help you stay focused.

Identify triggers and develop coping mechanisms.

Plan alternative activities: Try something different and keep busy. Look at activities to replace drinking.

Change your environment so that it becomes more of an effort to get a drink, remove or limit your access to alcohol.

Practice self-care: Look after you, you are really important. Taking care of your physical and mental health can reduce the urge to rely on alcohol.

Track your progress: Note it down – you may be surprised how much you drank last week. Seeing your progress over time can inspire you to continue reducing your alcohol use.
