Satsang UK warmly invites you to its 19th National Congregation & Annual Utsav, a day-long community gathering bringing together spirituality, social dialogue, cultural activities, community service and fellowship.

The event is open to everyone, regardless of background.

🙏 What to Expect

The Utsav will provide an opportunity to experience the spiritual and cultural traditions of Satsang through:

• Morning and evening Satsang congregations

• Prayer and meditation

• Devotional music and Kirtan

• Spiritual discussions

• Symposium and panel discussions

• Cultural programmes for women and children

• Community fellowship

• Prasad / meals for attendees in the morning, lunchtime and dinner time

• Opportunities for volunteering and community service

🎤 Symposium – Spirituality in Action

A major feature of the Utsav will be a symposium on:

“Applied Spiritualism for Sustainable Social Reformation”

The discussion will bring together speakers and professionals from different fields, exploring how spiritual and human values can be translated into practical action for social wellbeing, sustainable development and community transformation.

Distinguished guests, including Mr Luke Taylor, MP for Sutton and Cheam, and Ms Rajia Sattar, Head of Partnerships, Impact and Equalities at Community Action Sutton, are expected to address the gathering alongside other speakers.

🌳 Community & Environmental Initiatives

The Utsav will also connect spirituality with practical community service.

Representatives from Sutton Tree Wardens will be present to promote:

• Tree planting

• Environmental protection

• Local volunteering opportunities

• Future community environmental activities

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more and register their interest in participating in future activities.

🩸 NHS Health & Blood Awareness Initiative

For the first time at a Satsang UK Utsav, the NHS will participate in a health and blood-group awareness initiative.

Visitors will have an opportunity to:

• Learn about their blood group

• Receive general health information

• Learn about the importance of blood donation

• Develop greater awareness of personal health and wellbeing

Free health/blood-group check-up registration is available through the event registration process.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A Programme for Everyone

The Utsav is designed as a family and community event, with activities throughout the day for different age groups.

Children and young people will have dedicated activities, while adults can participate in spiritual discussions, the symposium, devotional programmes and community initiatives.

🤝 Volunteer & Community Participation

Attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute to the successful organisation of the Utsav by volunteering in areas such as:

• Prasad/food distribution

• Welcome and registration

• Stage and venue decoration

• Cleaning and venue support

• Guest assistance

• Children's activities

• Community initiatives

• NHS health-awareness activities

🚆 Getting There

The venue is located in Sutton, South London, with convenient public transport connections.

Cheam railway station is one of the nearest stations to the venue, and the area is accessible using London's public transport network.

Attendees travelling from outside London are encouraged to plan their journey in advance.

🏠 Accommodation

For devotees travelling from outside London who require accommodation, affordable options may be available around London Bridge and other well-connected areas.

If you are not driving, London Bridge can be a convenient base, with direct train connections towards Cheam, providing easy access to the Utsav venue.

💳 Registration & Donations

Attendees are encouraged to register their interest in attending the Utsav in advance.

Through the event registration platform, you can also indicate:

• Your interest in volunteering

• Your preferred volunteering area

• Your interest in the NHS health initiative

• Other participation requirements

There will also be an opportunity to make a voluntary contribution towards the Utsav using debit or credit card.
