Adult services parents’ and carers’ evening

We are pleased to invite you to our next meeting of parents and carers for adults with a learning disability. The meeting is aimed at parents of people who attend Sutton Mencap services, but anyone who cares for an adult with a learning disability, or someone approaching adulthood, is welcome to attend.

 Agenda items will include:

·        Our new partnership project with Thinking Works, aimed at tackling food poverty.  Gracie Meikle from Thinking Works will tell people about the support they can offer to help reduce energy bills.

·        The Fantastic Freddie Foundation.  Charlie Millet will tell us about the exciting leisure activities provided by the group.

·        A discussion around development of future services.  We need your thoughts on possible plans for the future.

·        Updates on Sutton Mencap services, led by Tammy Satchell, Adult Services Manager.
