Sutton Music Festival is held annually over weekends from 8 to 30 November. It gives you the opportunity to perform – either solo or in groups – before a live audience, and also to get expert feedback from our team of professional adjudicators. Performance and feedback – keys to improvement! And the Festival is open to all to enjoy the performances.
The syllabus, which is now available here includes a number of new classes, which we think will be attractive to a wide group of entrants. These are:
-
a percussion ensemble class
-
a class for traditional instruments, which will allow recorded backing tracks
-
a youth ensemble in the choral section
-
contemporary song - new classes for under 19s and adults, both allowing instrumental accompaniment or backing tracks.

And please come along to the Prizewinners’ Concert on Sunday 30 November, starting at 3pm, at Overton Grange School, Stanley Road, Sutton. The concert will include some of the prizewinners from the Festival. The Mayor of Sutton will be presenting the prizes and trophies.
Come along for a wonderful afternoon of music and drama.
