MAPS Mentoring & Peer Support

Mentoring is a positive relationship where an adult volunteer mentor meets with the young person once a week for 6-12 months. Our trained volunteers provide our young people with a safe space to unpack life and have their voice heard, giving them an opportunity to talk about issues that may be affecting them, whether with low self-esteem or poor mental health, behaviour issues or with challenging family situations. Our young people benefit from support and guidance, learning new skills, trying new activities and having some fun!
