Local Study Programmes Offering Employability Support
Page last updated
You can enrol in a study programme if you want to continue studying while building on employability skills.
A study programme is something you can take after your GCSEs, often alongside a regular further education course. They are tailored to your individual needs so will vary depending on the support you want. These help to prepare you to continue studying or to enter employment. Sutton and District Training
Sutton and District training runs a provision called 'STEPS' for young people with additional needs. Their tailored provision for students with additional needs focuses on 'Preparation for Adulthood' goals, enhancing confidence and coping skills. STEPS is ideal for students who are unsure of what vocational pathway they wish to take. It aims to make the transition between education and employment easier. You do not need to have an EHC plan to be enrolled. For more information about STEPS, visit the Sutton and District Training Website [External Link].
