Community Paediatric Medical Service (Community Paediatricians)

The Community Paediatric Medical Service provides a range of services for young people and their families that are vulnerable due to disease, disability and disadvantage.

These include:

  • Medical Assessment

  • Diagnosis

  • Support

  • Medical Management

The service is provided for young people under 18. They must be registered with a Sutton GP in the following areas:

  • Services for children and young people with disabilities and complex health needs

  • Services to children and young people with SEND. This includes contributing to EHCNAs and annual reviews of EHCPs

  • Safeguarding and protecting children and young people

  • Services for Looked After Children. This includes adoption and fostering services
