What is this club?
Cheam Club is a member club of Croquet England which encourages people all over the UK to play this popular sport.
Members play social and internal matches. There are also opportunities to play in leagues. Croquet is a fun and sociable activity for everyone, whether young or old.
Cheam is a friendly club and enjoys tea and cake on social occasions during the year.
What we offer?
- The Croquet & Bowls playing season lasts from March to December depending on weather conditions.

There is a 6-week evening coaching session in August to give guidance on how to play and the tactics of the sports. Dates are not confirmed but likely to be August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 August.
- Additional information:
The Club caters for adults over 18 years. Most members play Croquet but there is a team of friendly members who play bowl and would welcome new comers.
- What to wear:
There is no formal wear for internal club games, the only stipulation is that flat footwear must be worn when walking on the lawn.
