We manage Sutton's 40+ nature reserves, inspire young people through the national curriculum, work in partnership to restore degraded habitats and provide advice to protect and make space for wildlife through the planning process.
What is this service?
Sutton Ecology Centre is a beautiful nature reserve in Carshalton. The woodlands, ponds, meadows and gardens provide an oasis for wildlife to thrive in a built up area. Our aim is to educate the residents of Sutton about nature and biodiversity. The nature reserve is open to the public 7 days a week for anyone to come and explore, follow our trail and discover more about nature from the information boards. We offer fun school holiday activities for families with children 3yrs plus. We also offer school session during term time linked to the national curriculum. We have partners who offer Forest School Sessions for pre-school children and their parents, art workshops and more.
