What is this club?

We are an enthusiastic, friendly club, run by volunteers, with interests in every single aspect of model engineering, based in Sutton, Surrey.

New members are always very welcome – but it’s not just about model engineering and trains, we are very grateful for the help of all of our members, from carpenters to painters, those who can undertake re-ballasting our ground level track or replacing sleepers on our raised track, upkeeping the Gauge 1 track, or helping out with tending the grounds, you will always be most welcome. Or perhaps you would wish to visit us with your loco on a track running day, or just get involved on track days, then please contact us via our Contact Us page, or come along on a day when we are open – we look forward very much to meeting you.

The Club meets on –

Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm until 9:00pm in the main for Clubhouse activities.

Thursday mornings from 9:30am to 12:00 noon for an array of maintenance activities.

Sunday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00 noon for an array of maintenance activities.

The second Sunday in the month is normally a track day, from 1:00pm until 4:00pm for members of the public to ride on the miniature railway.

There are also track afternoons for members, friends and family on the fourth Thursday of each month from April to October, along with some Saturday afternoons during the year.

We occupy a small site in Stonecot Hill, Sutton, where we have a Club House and engineering facilities, along with layouts for the running of miniature railway locomotives.
