What is this service?
National Online School is the UK’s first ever DfE-accredited online SEND school, providing personalised education for children and young people aged 9-25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Backed by over 25 years of specialist experience as part of the TCES Group, the school has transformed the lives of SEND learners while maintaining a legacy of zero exclusions, making it the most inclusive online school in the country.
Led by a multi-disciplinary team of SEND specialists, including educators, SENDCos, clinicians, therapists, pastoral and family support staff, National Online School delivers a fully integrated therapeutic education. Its unique combination of universal and targeted interventions ensures that every student receives the personalised support they need to achieve their full potential.
We offer the core subjects of English, Maths and Science plus additional subjects. We can support students in taking Functional Skills, iGCSEs, BTECs and A-Levels, including providing remote invigilation allowing students to sit their exams at home.
Students attending our school typically have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), but we also support those who are either at the start of the EHCP process or without an EHCP.
