What is The Brain Friends Programme?

The Brain Friends Online Programme is a weekly, science-based coaching and emotional skills programme for children aged 4 to 12. Through stories, movement, games and characters, children learn to understand their emotions, notice what their body is telling them, and build tools for emotional regulation, confidence and resilience.

Each session is small, structured and SEN-friendly – perfect for sensitive, anxious or emotionally overwhelmed children who need support to feel safe and steady in the world.

Age Groups

  • Tame Time Junior (ages 4–6): Parents attend with their child. Focus on body clues, early emotions, movement and connection.

  • Tame Time (ages 7–9): Building emotional language, awareness and simple calming strategies.

  • Brilliant Brain Lab (ages 10–12): Exploring stress, peer relationships, independence and emotional reflection.

  • Brain Lab Teens (ages 13–16): Coming Soon
