Trinity Church sponsors the Trinity Scout and Guide Group, with a current child membership of about 220 drawn from a wide social and ethnic background including members of many Christian denominations as well as other faiths. The Group is fortunate to have about 30 volunteer leaders and adult helpers although there are vacancies for adults in a number of units. We also have about 12 young (under 18) helpers.
Our young people meet in fifteen age based sections to ensure that activities are appropriate for their age and ability. All of the Scouting Sections and some of the Guiding Sections meet at Trinity with the remainder meeting a few hundred metres away in Sutton Division Guide Headquarters in Clarence Road.
Our Scouting sections include Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Our Guiding Sections, which are only open to girls, include Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.
