We bring our huge train sets for the children to build and play with in a safe, understanding and supportive environment.
All Aboard Club staff have personal lived experience of autism and ADHD, so we understand the children's challenges. We also welcome volunteers to help set up and run the sessions.
Parents are often surprised by how relaxed, focused and calm their children are during our 90-minute play sessions.
After many wonderful years of play and community, Richard has decided to retire. As a result, our current sessions will be finishing in July.
We know that this will be disappointing for our families. But we wanted to thank you for being such a vital part of our play sessions and for all the memories we’ve shared.
We will still run our scheduled play sessions in Sutton, Acton and Lewisham in May, June and July – you can book these sessions as usual.
My son is always happier and more relaxed after the sessions, and can’t wait to return. It provides a nice break for the parents too :)

These services are NOT commissioned by the London Borough of Sutton Council. Acorn to oak education is a local social enterprise that supports families with SEN learners through coaching for parents and carers, help with finding a school or college and by providing SEND advice.

Adapt to Learn offers consultancy services, school observations and feedback, training and parent coffee mornings. We can provide 1 to 1 sessions for students to help with emotional regulation and resilience. We can also provide support for parents/carers.
