Cognus provides a range of services for families to ensure that children, young people and parents/carers receive the support and services they need to achieve and lead happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
We work in partnership with families to help meet the needs of children and young people, supporting their access to and enjoyment of education and providing additional opportunities for them to develop and learn. We also work directly with children and young people to improve their resilience and self-esteem and meet their educational needs.
Our offer to families:
Supporting parents/carers through our bespoke range of parenting programmes
Providing more intensive and targeted support, as required
Signposting children and young people to more specialist services where appropriate

These services are NOT commissioned by the London Borough of Sutton Council. Acorn to oak education is a local social enterprise that supports families with SEN learners through coaching for parents and carers, help with finding a school or college and by providing SEND advice.

Cheam PEP is part of Cheam High School (CHS) Sixth Form. It is for students: 1. With an Education Health and Care Plan whose needs fall within the range of moderate learning (MLD) 2. Between the ages of 16 and 19 3. Who need a stepping stone between school and college
