Belmont Park is a lovely local park near the Royal Marsden Hospital. It provides a place to relax on a summer's day, you can enjoy a game of table tennis or have a picnic on one of the picnic tables.
The award-winning park features a variety of play equipment that will keep children entertained for hours. There are numerous inclusive play equipment options available for children with limited mobility. Adults can enjoy a delicious stone baked pizza from the cafe while the kids play!

Originally the grounds of Cheam Park House built in the 19th Century, known locally as Bethell House after the family that lived there until 1937, Cheam Park was bought by the council and used as a factory to assemble Gas Masks between 1939 and 1940, it was also used as a first aid station and a warden's post.
The house suffered a large amount of damage after being hit by a flying bomb during the second world war. Shortly after which, the building was demolished.
Playground Information
Cheam Park has numerous play facilities on offer, including a zip wire, a trampoline and swings for different ages.
There are also numerous inclusive playground equipment options available for children with disabilities. These include musical equipment, an inclusive carousel and a basket swing. The trampoline can also be used.
Cheam Park Caffe
The cafe is open 7 days a week, from 9:00am-5:00pm Mondays-Fridays, 8:30am-5:30pm Saturdays, and 9:30am-5:30pm Sundays. The cafe offers delicious cakes, stone baked Italian pizza, traditional breakfast and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

Benhill Recreation Ground is an open grassland to the west along Benhill Road. It provides a large play area for children to enjoy, and picnic tables for lunch. There are inclusive picnic tables available for people with limited mobility.

Carshalton Park is one of Sutton's parks that is rich in historical significance. When you walk through the park you will see The Grotto which dates back to 1724 and the Hog Pit pond which dates back to the mediaeval era!
