Come and work with professional actors and directors to learn and develop your acting skills and make theatre.
This 4 day course will concentrate on Actor-Musicianship using pre-existing songs to make a story. We will be using music as a stimulus for devising. On the Wednesday evening we will be going on a trip to the Old Vic, London to watch 'Girl from the North Country' A play combing actors and musicians.
Create Drama will gives young people a chance to be creative, make new friends, build your confidence and develop their acting and drama skills. At the end of the 4 day course you will be awarded with your Create Drama Certificate with the skills you have been working on included. This is a great addition to your portfolios and CV's for feature careers. You will also be invited to join our new 'Create Drama Youth Theatre' that runs on Wednesdays evenings at term time).
