Attendees include people regaining fitness following hip replacements, a couple who find regular swim sessions difficult due to poor eyesight, and a number of participants with mental health challenges.
The sessions are designed to be sociable and everyone is made to feel welcome with swimmers aided by volunteers including physiotherapists. All swim abilities are catered for and attendees can enjoy as much time in the pool as they like.
The pools we use all have fantastic disabled access including the building, changing facilities and on poolside.
If you’d like to join us, please do come along to an upcoming session, or get in touch with any queries.
