Sparks - An early intervention therapeutic playgroup for babies to 4 years. This offers weekly speech and language therapy by specialist provider Symbol UK, early literacy and numeracy skills and music therapy. Come and enjoy your child’s learning. Chatterbox - Speech therapy groups for ages 5-15 supervised by Symbol UK. Thursdays 4.30 and 5.30 pm, 50 minutes. £10 per session. Conversation , sentence construction, memory training, categorisation, reading, speech sounds, topic vocabulary amongst other skills. Fun teaching in a small group. West Street Evangelical Church, Carshalton.
The Zone - A Friday night youth club for adults with Down’s syndrome, of all strengths and challenges and their close friends with Learning Disabilities. 7.30-9.30 at West Street Evangelical Church, West Street, Carshalton SM5 2NR. Board games, arts and crafts, table tennis, a talk topic, tuck shop, music and dancing along with special events chosen by the young people eg. drama workshop. Subscription payable half termly £4 per session. Parents/Siblings are welcome to stay and enjoy tea/coffee.
Spangles - A drama, dance and music group for youngsters with Down’s syndrome aged 4-10. Meet Wednesdays term time 4.45 – 5.30 pm. Cost £7 per session payable half termly. Ring Kathy on 020 8669 8942

Dolphins is a swim programme for those with physical or mental impairments. Based throughout Surrey we offer friendly swim sessions which are open to anyone who feels their mental or physical health would benefit from joining one of the assisted groups.
