All levels of experience are welcome to volunteer at Carshalton Community Allotment. The allotment site is located next to Carshalton Football Club off Colston Avenue. We are particularly keen to have more individuals with an interest in growing come to our Saturday sessions. Please pop down on a Saturday if you are able to garden independently.
If you would like to take part on Mondays and Fridays as a part of a larger group, please email food@ecolocal.org.uk to find out if there is space available.
Gardening can be a wonderfully satisfying activity for anyone, regardless of age and ability. Enjoy the outdoors, meet other people, learn new skills, get a bit of exercise and take a share of the harvest home to eat! We are also growing fresh vegetables for donation to Sutton Women Centre food bank for women in crisis. There has been an increased demand for this food bank from women in need since covid-19 and we are delighted to be able to help in this way.
We are open in rain and sun, but we need to keep numbers to a covid-safe level, so please enquire before coming:
