We welcome up to 80 volunteers to the farm every week. Volunteers primarily get involved in either VegBox Packing or Crop Production, with some specialised small teams focusing on other key activities on the farm.
Volunteer sessions happen Monday – Thursday, either in the morning or afternoon. Saturday volunteer sessions occur once or twice a month depending on the time of year. We use an online rota system so that volunteers can sign up to volunteer sessions they would like to attend. There is no expected ongoing commitment.
If you are interested, please fill in your details on our volunteer registration form and arrange your first session with Sonia. Volunteering at the farm is done on the understanding that people freely give their time to do work without being paid.
What to Wear
Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy, comfortable shoes
We provide gloves and any tools you might need

Getting Here
Detailed instructions of how to find the farm are on our website
The main entrance to the farm is on Woodmansterne Lane (SM6 0SW), directly opposite Flitton's Plant Nursery. Walk through the gap in the hedge and follow the woodchip path towards the buildings
If coming by car please park on Woodmansterne Lane, as we have no parking on the farm
If you are intending to drive is a good idea to direct yourself to Flitton's Plant Nursery which is at 51 Woodmansterne Lane, SM6 0SW.
The main entrance to the farm is through the gate which is just across the road from Flitton's.
Please park on Woodmansterne Lane on the same side as our hedge (ensuring that all 4 of your tires are on the road and not the grass to avoid any fines from the council).
Walk through our gap in the hedge and follow the woodchip path through the fields which leads you to the buildings in the middle of the farm.
Please note we have no parking on the farm - so please don't follow instructions to our postal address on Telegraph Track as you'll then need to spend time going back around to Woodmansterne Lane.
We provide drinking water, hot drinks and toast
It feels very good to be able to volunteer for an organisation for which I have the utmost respect. It also gives me a bit of much needed exercise!
