About Our Service

GoWise Learning provides specialist one-to-one tutoring for children with SEND and SEMH needs across Sutton and nearby areas. Our sessions are personalised to help children build confidence, develop essential skills and enjoy learning in a calm, supportive environment. Our Approach – The GoWise Learning Framework

Our framework is built around one core belief:every child learns best when they feel safe, understood and valued. We take time to truly see each learner, their strengths, their challenges, their interests, and the unique way they make sense of the world. Many of our students experience difficulties that are not always visible: anxiety, sensory overwhelm, language barriers, low confidence, or a history of feeling misunderstood in educational settings. Parents and SEND professionals can contact us directly or complete our referral form on the GoWise Learning website. We arrange an initial conversation to understand the child’s needs, strengths and interests. Each child receives an Individualised Learning Plan (ILP) shaped around their pace, engagement style and learning profile. Learning is built gradually using strategies suited to academic, emotional, sensory and developmental needs. Who We Support

Sessions are calm, engaging and child-centred. We adapt learning to each child’s strengths and needs, using visual tools, sensory strategies and supportive communication to ensure they feel safe, understood and motivated. Parents and SEND teams receive a termly progress report highlighting growth, strengths and next steps. Safeguarding & Professional Standards

At GoWise Learning, safeguarding is central to our work. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead ensures that child protection procedures are followed consistently, creating a safe and respectful learning environment. All tutors hold enhanced DBS checks, follow clear safeguarding pathways, and receive ongoing training.
