What is this service?

The Vulnerable Pupils Panel (VPP), is a multi-agency partnership whose aim is to ensure Children and young people have equality of access to high quality mainstream education and have the same opportunities to achieve and succeed through all their steps in education and effectively prepare them for adulthood whatever their starting point.

Additionally, the partnership identifies support advice and guidance that ensures the needs of vulnerable children and young people, who are displaying behaviours that are a cause for concern and may lead to exclusion, or are experiencing school attendance difficulties, are met effectively.

The partnership supports educational settings through the provision information sharing, advice, and guidance that will benefit educational settings through capacity building and sharing/increasing resources within the system.
