The Friends of Beddington Park are an independent organisation of local residents who work in partnership with Sutton Council. The committee of The Friends of Beddington Park are all volunteers. Please help us achieve more by joining our Friends Group! Membership is £5 per household.

Purpose?
Seek to improve the provision of amenities and facilities in the park either through public funding, public/private partnership or fund raising
Promote development and maintenance of the park and waterways
Promote the park with its historical connections, as an important part of the local heritage
Promote as a public open space for use for public walks and leisure amenities
Promote as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation and Wildlife
Present the views of users of the park to the Council on matters relating to the management of the park
The Friends keep a watchful eye on the Park and promote it as public open spaces for use for walks and other leisure activities. We encourage the development and maintenance of the Parks and waterways and seek to improve the provision of amenities and facilities through public funding, public private partnership and our own fundraising.

We meet formally about 4 times a year, where we openly discuss projects, parks maintenance, parks and neighbourhood policing and invite guests to speak on local topics.

Belmont Park is a lovely local park near the Royal Marsden Hospital. It provides a place to relax on a summer's day, you can enjoy a game of table tennis or have a picnic on one of the picnic tables.

Benhill Recreation Ground is an open grassland to the west along Benhill Road. It provides a large play area for children to enjoy, and picnic tables for lunch. There are inclusive picnic tables available for people with limited mobility.
