Wrythe Recreation Ground is open grassland surrounded by numerous mature trees with other trees in the more open areas. The 1st edition OS map of 1867 shows open land of the same shape as the park today. In the eastern part is a WWII air raid shelter.

Benhill Recreation Ground is an open grassland to the west along Benhill Road. It provides a large play area for children to enjoy, and picnic tables for lunch. There are inclusive picnic tables available for people with limited mobility.

Carshalton Park is one of Sutton's parks that is rich in historical significance. When you walk through the park you will see The Grotto which dates back to 1724 and the Hog Pit pond which dates back to the mediaeval era!
