Manging Money Training
A module offered by MoneySuperMarket.com and the National Autistic Society. You can learn about a range of topic related to money. You can complete the module in one go or section by section over as long as you need.
The module aims to support you to recognise the strengths you have when managing your money. It also aims to show you the challenges you may face with this. MyBnk provides advice and support for young people to help manage their money. They have a range of tools that can help you to understand what this means and the best ways to do it. For more information and tips, visit the MyBnk website [External Link].
Family Fund
Family Fund is a national charity who provide financial support to those who are on a low income and caring for a young person with SEND. This includes providing them with grants and practical advice.
You can apply for a grant from them to help with the costs that come with caring for a child or young person. This can include furniture, technology, equipment and family breaks.
Family fund also have a range of services you can access to help with money management. These include digital skills workshops, information events and money management tools. For more information on the services they provide, visit the Family Fund Wider Support page [External Link].
Family Fund Grants
You can see if you may be eligible for a Family Fund grant to support you. Family Fun will look at your income and the impact caring for a young person with a disability has on this. Support for Families with Disabled Children (SFDC)
The SFDC programme is funded by the Department for Education and Family Fund. It allows low-income families who are caring for children with SEND to access a range of grants.
