OUR DIVERSITY

OUR REPUTATION
•At Cheam & Sutton we are probably best known for our Santa’s Sleigh which is a highlight of Christmas for many in our community.
•We help many local charities, including Home Start, Sutton Women’s Centre, Sutton Mental Health Foundation, Macular Society, MERU, Royal Marsden Cancer charities, Sutton Young Carers and many others.
•We are working with local groups such as Sutton Council, Sutton Lodge, St Dunstan’s, Yourspace Sutton, EcoLocal, Green Sutton Network, Scouts & Guides Groups etc

•Receive a Rotary pin badge, monthly copies of our Rotary magazine and access to on-line resources such as the Learning Centre - take online courses about the Rotary organisation, leadership and professional development topics.
•Access to fun Inter-Club sports competitions, quizzes and socials events.
•Wide range of experiences and connections – hear about where our Club member donations are making an impact around the world, attend a district, national or international Rotary meeting or a Rotary convention, join in partnership activities with members of a club in another country.
As well as our projects we have various social events, meals and outings.
We meet on the first Tuesday and third Tuesday of the month (Sutton Bowling Club, 7pm - 9pm) for a meal (optional) and to plan service projects.
I found out we support thousands of charities, and can help pick what the Club supports from year to year that is close to my heart.

The Community Volunteer Squad is a project that connects local volunteers with residents in need, to perform basic, one-off, 'helpful tasks'. All residents' referrals come via organisations including the Together for Sutton partnership, Home-Start Sutton and Sutton Women's Centre.

The Friends of Beddington Park are an independent organisation of local residents who work in partnership with Sutton Council. The committee of The Friends of Beddington Park are all volunteers. Please help us achieve more by joining our Friends Group! Membership is £5 per household.

Home-Start Sutton offers volunteer befriending support along with practical and emotional guidance to families who are dealing with some of life’s most difficult challenges. Home-Start Sutton have a range of support services designed to meet the needs of local children and families.
