Sutton Tree Wardens

The Sutton Tree Wardens are volunteers who plant and care for park trees, monitor tree health and run occasional education & training courses. The majority of our tasks take place in Beddington Park but we also help with tree projects in parks across the borough.

What is this group?

We are a friendly, informal volunteering group who love trees! We meet weekly, carrying out tree and hedge planting in autumn/winter and tree maintenance throughout the year.

You will learn aspects of:

  • Tree Identification

  • Tree Planting

  • Tree Pests and Diseases

  • Tree Biology

  • Woodland Management
