Training and Development Opportunities and Resources Across the Local Area
Sutton provides all SENCO’s with the opportunity to learn, develop and improve, whether you are new to the profession or with many years experience.
SEND Partnership Learning and Development site
To assist you in accessing SEND courses and learning resources, we have developed a multi-agency learning and development site for anyone who is involved with children, young people and their families in Sutton. The overall purpose of this site is to provide easy access to the SEND Learning and Development programme and additional external events and learning resources. Sutton Partnership Learning Management System
Sutton Partnership Learning Management System is managed jointly by the Council and Cognus Limited as part of a shared commitment to deliver a high quality learning and development offer to the workforce in the London Borough of Sutton and more widely for schools. The Knowledge Hub
The Knowledge Hub is an online platform where SENCOs can share best practice and collaborate. It has a Forum for 'chat and messaging', a library for key documents/information, and a calendar for key events etc. The group is restricted to SENCOs only and is an invite only platform. The platform brings together an online forum, SENCO calendar and a library of resources or key information. If you are a SENCO and do not yet have access you can click on the link above, register, then find the Sutton SENCO forum group and request to join.

The Communication Trust offer a range of resources, including “Communicating the Code” which provides additional information in relation to children and young people with speech, language and communication needs, to support practitioners to implement the SEND Code of Practice.
