The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme

Here you can now find information and support for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme in Sutton as well as search providers and make bookings.

Welcome to the HAF information pages

The HAF programme is funded by the Department for Education to provide free fun holiday-enriching and physical activities with nutritious meals for children and young people (aged Reception to Year 11 inclusive) receiving benefits-related free school meals.

The annual programme will cover the spring (Easter) , summer, and winter (Christmas) holidays. Eligible families can apply for a total of 16 hours of provision a week. We will run the programme for:

1 week during Easter
4 weeks during summer, and
1 week during Christmas

Sutton HAF does not run in the half terms.

The programme aims for children and young people to have the opportunity to have fun, learn and further skills and try something new. With a wide range of activities to choose from, you don’t want to miss out!

**Sutton HAF does not run in the half term holidays. Our next programme will be our Summer programme in the Summer holidays (excluding bank holidays and weekends).

HAF Vouchers will be sent to eligible families at least a month before the holidays start. Bookings will also go live on this date. Providers/clubs will be uploaded every day on our web page. **

If you are eligible and did not receive a HAF voucher, please check your junk mail and then contact your school immediately for them to order vouchers for you.
